LEAWOOD, Kan. -- Reports that a shooting victim was found at a car accident in Leawood, had police sorting through details and trying to determine what had happened at 103rd and Mission.

According to Johnson Co Medact, they transported three patients from the scene. When FOX 4 questioned dispatch if the emergency call that came into them at about 5:00 p.m., was for a shooting, Leawood PD could not confirm this and Overland Park was not aware of any details at that time.

According to Gary Mason with the Overland Park Police Department, there was confusion with dispatch and he hadn't been able to get a hold of anyone on scene. He was working to find out what was going on, who was responsible for each separate scene.

At 5:45 p.m. Overland Park dispatch told FOX 4 there was no shooting victim, only accident victims at 103rd and Mission. According to a tweet from Overland Park Police a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed hit  one car at 95th Street and four other cars were involved at 103rd Street.
