Allegiant Airlines ads nonstop service from KC to 3 Florida destinations

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Allegiant  Airlines announced on Tuesday new, nonstop jet service from Kansas City to Orlando, Southwest Florida and Tampa / St. Pete.  

Allegiant is a low-cost airline; it says it provides customers with low base fares averaging nearly half the cost of the average domestic round-trip fare. The new flights will all operate twice weekly. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.

New routes announced are:

Nonstop service from Kansas City International Airport (MCI) to:

 Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) – begins Nov. 13, 2015 with fares as low as $49*

Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) – begins Nov. 13, 2015 with fares as low as $49*

St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) – begins Nov. 12, 2015 with fares as low as $49*

“Allegiant’s decision to add Kansas City to its rapidly expanding network is a testament to the strength of this region,” said Mark VanLoh, Director of Aviation for the Kansas City Aviation Department. “From the theme parks in Central Florida to the award-winning beaches in Clearwater to Marco Island, the flights and vacation packages that Allegiant will offer to these three Florida destinations will certainly draw new passengers through our airport.”
