KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Firefighters are working to put out a fire that broke out at a Kansas City, Mo., bar early Tuesday morning.

The fire department says that flames were shooting out of the roof of Champs Blues and Jazz Bar when they arrived on the scene just after 3 a.m.

At one point the roof collapsed.

One firefighter on the scene had to be treated for possible dehydration.

The fire chief on the scene said they were not sure if anyone was inside of the building.

This is the second fire at the bar in less than a year. In January the bar went up in flames and caused more than $50,000 of damage. Since the first fire the gas and power has been shut off which makes investigators suspicious about the cause of the fire. Bomb and arson crews have been called in along with investigators.
