ST. JOSEPH -- A Missouri teenager will be tried as an adult in the murders of his grandparents.

Joseph Sean Johnson, 16, was certified as an adult during a hearing Wednesday in Saint Joseph.

According to prosecutors, last month, Johnson shot his grandmother in the head once, and his grandfather in the head twice, killing them both.

Investigators say Johnson lived with his grandparents at the time of their murders.
