KANSAS CITY, Kan. —  A former National guardsman pleaded guilty on Monday to one count of possession of child pornography.

34-year-old Matthew Barnes of Overland Park, Kansas was sentenced to 63 months in a federal prison in connection to the charges.

Investigators say that the laptop where the images were found was issued by the Drug Enforcement Administration to Barnes to assist him in his role as an analyst with the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area program.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children were able to identify all of the children in the images that were found on Barnes’ laptop.
