KANSAS CITY, Mo. — There’s a lot of excitement about the 2015 Chiefs season, especially after the team looked so good winning their first preseason game, but if you plan to head out to the first preseason home game there are a few things you might want to note.

The game against the NFC Champs, the Seattle Seahawks, kicks off at 7 p.m. Friday.

Starters are expected to play the entire first half and possibly some of the third quarter.

The parking lot opens at 2:30 p.m. and general gates open at 5:30 p.m. Club level ticket holders (the Scout Investments Club Level) will be able to enter the stadium starting at 4:30 p.m.

New this season, fans can no longer pay $30 cash at Gate 5. Fans must have a prepaid parking pass. Fans can pay cash at every other gate.

Traffic in the complex will move counterclockwise, and they are asking tailgaters to keep all equipment within eight feet of the back of cars to keep the aisle clear for other cars.

Arrowhead will also be implementing the “clear bag policy” in an effort to get fans through security faster. Women are allowed to bring a small clutch purse, but other belongings must be placed in a one gallon Ziploc bag.

There will also be undercover officers scattered throughout the stadium to make sure everyone behaves.

Construction continues on by Gate 6 on the north side of the stadium, so traffic will be reduced to one lane in both directions on Stadium Drive from Raytown Road to 40-Highway.

Fans are encouraged to eave early and give yourself plenty of time to get to seats so they don’t miss any of the action on the field.

During the game the Chiefs will alternate playing three songs after touchdowns in an effort to help fans decide what song they would like to be the new touchdown celebration song. The Chiefs announced on Friday that fans will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite song until Mon. August 31st at 11:59 p.m. The song that wins the competition will be revealed after the first Chiefs touchdown on Thurs. September 17 when the Chiefs take on the Denver Broncos.

The songs include:

  •  “Hey, Kansas City!” by David George and A Crooked Mile
  •  “Song 2” by Blur
  • “Let Me Clear My Throat” by DJ Kool
