BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – In an effort to inspire people to love their bodies, no matter what they look like, a 16-year-old girl from California made a video which has since gone viral.

Genevieve Zuniga herself has weighed anywhere from 120 to 190 pounds, and because of her experiences decided she wanted to create her own video about body positivity.

“I just felt like it really needed to be said,” said the 16-year-old. “I know a lot of people who also deal with it. It’s really common thing to deal with.”

Once the video was posted online, a group called The BULLY Project shared it on their Facebook page and now the video has nearly two-million views.

Zuniga says she’s getting messages from all the world.
