Home Alone set for theatrical return to commemorate anniversary

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Here’s a reality check for you. Remember the holiday hit “Home Alone”?

The movie turns 25 this year. Later this fall, audiences who never had the chance to see in theaters will now get the opportunity.

Seven metro area theaters will screen the film on November 8th and 11th.

Of course, it made actor Macauly Culkin a star when he defended his house from two bumbling burglars after being accidentally left behind while his family’s on vacation.

“Home Alone” made more than $450 million worldwide in its first run.
