KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Looking for a way to sweeten up your favorite holiday dish? Try this recipe for cranberry-orange relish from J. Gilbert's Wood-Fired Steaks and Seafood in Overland Park, Kan.
1 cup water
1 cup orange juice
3 cups sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 pounds cranberries
1. Add all ingredients minus the salt in a kettle and then sprinkle salt on top.
2. Once it simmers, cook for 8 more minutes.
3. Uncover and cook for 1 hour (should never be stirred).
