KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Across the country airports are increasing security in light of recent international terror attacks.
If you are planning to fly during the holiday you can expect longer lines when you head through security checkpoints.
Officials at KCI Airport told FOX 4 that it is normal to bring in more patrols and security to help with the increase in travel around the holidays.
TSA said they are expecting 25 million passengers to travel during the week of Thanksgiving.
A metro man whose girlfriends is leaving for a study abroad program in Paris says he is nervous to see her leave.
"Shes been planning this trip for over a year now," Issac Wabb said. "She is really excited to go. She knows that it's a little bit dangerous now, but she is more excited than anything."
