KCMO police questioned an individual near Oldham and Gregory Blvd. Monday about an out-of-state investigation.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — After reports of a homicide suspect being taken into custody Monday, police now say that the individual being questioned is voluntarily assisting officers with an out-of-state investigation.

Police say the man was questioned near Gregory and Oldham around 11:24 a.m., and a homicide was not part of the questioning.

Police dispatch initially told FOX 4 that a homicide suspect was taken into custody after a brief police chase that started near 69th and Agnes and continued to  Gregory and Oldham.
