KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A crash that killed a mother of six and injured three of her kids has led to murder and assault charges against a Missouri woman.
Deanna Holleran, 26, of Newtown, Mo., is charged with second-degree murder, three counts of assault, tampering with a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of an accident in connection to the September crash at 9th and Hardesty. 30-year-old Mariana Hernandez–Gonzales was killed in the crash.
Prosecutors say Holleran ran a red light before hitting an Hernandez-Gonzales' SUV. Police said at the time the family was caught in a gun battle between two cars.
Court records show that Holleran was served a warrant on Tuesday, but no court dates are listed for her yet. Prosecutors have requested she be held on a $500,000 bond.
