KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Looking for a new cocktail that won't leave you with a sugar overload. Fitness expert Terri Allen shared two recipes that are both low on the sugar but satisfying to the tastebuds.
12 fluid ounces vodka
1 cup sugar free whip cream
1 package Sugar free pink lemonade
1/2 cup crushed ice
Combine all ingredients in blender add ice. Blend until smooth. Pour and enjoy!
3-4 mint leaves
1 ounce white rum
1 lime wedge
Diet lemon lime soda
1/4 cup sugar
Muddle mint leaves, rum and the juice from lime wedge. Run the squeezed lime wedge around the rim of the glass, and then dip the top of the glass in a shallow plate of granulated sugar to coat the rim. Pour the muddled mixture into your glass, fill with crushed ice, and top off with the diet soda. Enjoy!
