KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Postseason Chiefs tickets are on sale Wednesday, as the Chiefs prepare for a potential home playoff game.

It’s been 22 years since the chiefs won a playoff game.

On Wednesday tickets went on sale for folks living in Jackson County.
They say this has been a long-standing tradition of honoring the taxpayers in the county.

All tickets can be purchased at the Arrowhead Stadium ticket office. You must bring one form of identification and a personal 2014 property tax receipt.

Tickets for the general public will go on sale starting Thursday at 10 a.m.

If the Chiefs win the division on Sunday, they will get a home playoff game. For that to happen, the Denver Broncos would have to lose, and the Chiefs would need to beat the Oakland Raiders.

If the Broncos and Chiefs both win, the Chiefs will be the fifth seed in a wild card position and then play on the road.

If a game is not played at Arrowhead patrons will get a full refund.
