INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — Police took three suspects into custody and are searching for another Sunday after locating two stolen vehicles at an Independence residence. An ensuing pursuit resulted in one officer sustaining injuries in a crash with a bystander vehicle.
According to a news release, Independence Police officers around 10 a.m. located a blue Chevolet Blazer believed to be stolen parked outside a residence in the 500 block of S. Crysler Avenue.
As police prepared to take action, two subjects entered the vehicle and fled.
