KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police are searching for a gunman who held up a Subway in Kansas City Wednesday night. Police say a man with a gun robbed the store near 84th and Wornall around 9:30 p.m. No one was hurt, and police have not yet released a description of the suspect.
This is believed to be the eighth Subway robbery in the past two weeks, and detectives across the metro are working together to determine if the same person or people are behind these robberies.
Since Monday, Jan. 25 gunmen have robbed three Subways in Kansas City, one in Shawnee, one in Olathe, one in Kansas City, Kan., and one in Lee' s Summit.

Another Subway shop in Belton was robbed on Saturday, Jan. 30 at about 9:00 p.m. Officers responded to the Subway at 1720 E. North Ave. They say the suspect placed a food order and then displayed a small silver handgun and demanded money be put in the bag. The suspect left with a little more than $218 in cash.
