BOSTON (AP) — North Carolina coach Roy Williams got dizzy and had to be taken to the locker room during the second half of the Tar Heels game at Boston College on Tuesday night.

UNC spokesman Steve Kirschner says Williams got dizzy but is doing OK.

The incident occurred during the first media timeout of the second half.

The 65-year-old Williams has had bouts with vertigo in the past and has felt dizzy when standing up quickly.

Assistant coach Steve Robinson has assumed coaching duties on the sideline.

The Tar Heels are concluding a three-game road trip. Their last home game was Jan. 30, against Boston College.
