Grass fire near National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame leaves large area charred

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- A grass fire in Kansas City, Kan., Friday morning left a large area charred.

The fire broke out in the area near 125th and State Avenue just before 7 a.m. This is just north the National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame and west of Wyandotte County Park.

Firefighters had the fire out by 8 a.m.

No injuries were reported in the fire.

A Red Flag Warning remains in effect until 5 p.m., Friday.
