Police searching for female suspect in KC bank robbery

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police are searching for a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred Saturday in Kansas City.

Authorities said a woman entered the US Bank, located inside the Price Chopper on West 103rd Street, at around 4 p.m. and gave the teller a note with a demand for cash. She then fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

No weapon was displayed during the alleged robbery and no injuries were reported.

Police described the suspect as a white female, approximately 23 years old, with dark blonde hair and acne, standing 5 foot 1 with a slender build. She was wearing a purple hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans at the time of the incident.
