Excel Industries will open for the first time this week to workers and their families since the tragic shooting.

HESSTON, Kan. — Excel Industries in Hesston, Kan., will reopen Wednesday for workers and their families to take a tour of the facility. Then, they’ll re-open for business on Thursday.

This is the first time they’ve been allowed inside since a gunman killed three workers last month. Several others were wounded in the attack.

Police shot and killed the suspected shooter inside Excel Industries.

Workers have been allowed inside to gather their belongings, but so far the factory has not reopened.
