Overland Park police seek clues in effort to identify suspected shoplifter

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. —  The Overland Park Police Department posted to Facebook on Monday that they need the public’s help to identify a theft suspect.

The police department posted three photos of a woman who is suspected of stealing clothing from a business in the 11800 block of W. 95th Street on Tuesday, March 8, around 3:45 p.m.

According to the Facebook post, employees tried to stop the female outside of the store, but when she was approached she dropped the merchandise in her arms and fled.

Police also shared a photo of a blue Dodge Ram pickup truck they believe the woman may be driving. The truck is described as having a white tailgate.
