KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- From the battlefield, to a hospital bed, to downhill skiing and hunting. Retired staff Sergeant Luke Murphy has an inspiring story after an IED blast amputated his leg. Now he is using his experience to inspire others to not let challenges keep them down with a new book titled, "Blasted by Adversity," as well as working with KAMO Adventures, which helps wounded soldiers continue to enjoy life. Sgt. Murphy will be at the KAMO Adventures fundraiser at Boulevard Brewing Company Wednesday. Watch the video above to learn more about his story.
