Lane of northbound I-35 north of Kearney reopen after injury accident

CLAY COUNTY, Mo. — A crash involving multiple vehicles that left one person with injuries and forced a lane of northbound Interstate 35 to close on Tuesday afternoon has reopened, according to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was in the area of of the 30 mile marker, which is slightly north of Kearney. While at least one injury was reported, it’s currently unknown how badly they’re hurt.

Both the sheriff’s office and Missouri Highway Patrol are on scene assisting and investigating.
