NEW YORK — He may be a world famous rocker, but The Boss showed on Monday night that he’s not too cool to share a dance with his mom.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s River Tour returned to New York to a packed show at Madison Square Garden. The musician took the stage for thousands of people, and briefly left it to dance with his biggest fan: his 90-year-old mother, Adele.

The Springsteens’ one-minute dance session drew a standing ovation from the crowd.

Adele Springsteen often attends her son’s shows near their native New Jersey, and was spotted joining her son onstage for “Dancing in the Dark” at shows in Philadelphia in 2009 and 2012.

Adele and Bruce’s sister Pamela also took the stage at a performance at London’s Hard Rock Calling in July 2013.

Springsteen’s River Tour is coming to Kansas City’s Sprint Center on April 7.
