KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- As the Royals look ahead at the season opener on Sunday, the Royals Hall of Fame is taking a look back at Royals glory old and new.
Workers inside the Royals Hall of Fame are down to the wire trying to complete renovations to the Hall in time for Opening Night on Sunday. Fox 4's Carey Wickersham was inside the historic shrine in left field with director Curt Nelson getting a sneak peak of the new design and memorabilia from the world championship season.
The Hall of Fame has plenty of memorabilia on display, from the glory days of the 80s to the new age of Royals greatness.
FOX 4 headed over to the hallowed halls to see the latest finishing touches on an amazing 2015 season. Let's hope the boys in blue can add to the collection in 2016.
The Royals will take on the Mets in a World Series rematch Sunday at 7:37 p.m. Be sure to watch for coverage on Relay the Way, where more than 2,500 fans will participate in the ceremonial first pitch, starting at Union Station, making its way past 18th and Vine, down Brooklyn and then across Stadium Drive.
