A woman posted a picture on Facebook of a morel mushroom her husband found Sunday in Washington County, Mo., and many people responded with enthusiastic questions and praises.

The woman is from Park Hills, Mo., about five hours east and south of Kansas City. The woman says the morel measures 12 inches tall and 4 ½ inches wide, but in the picture, it appears even bigger.

An agent from the Department of Conservation serving the Washington County area met the family to see if it was a record-setter, and also took a picture with it, according to Sarah Ware. For more pictures of morel mushrooms found this season, click here.
