Watch this: Video shows man using rock to break into KC store, calmly steals cash register

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police are looking for the man seen on surveillance video breaking into a store by throwing a rock through the glass door, then stealing a cash register drawer that reportedly contained about eight dollars in change.

It happened Saturday at about 11:15 p.m. at Cakery Bakery, 3033 Prospect Ave. The video shows the suspect throwing a rock through the glass door, shattering it. The suspect then turns the dead bolt with his bare hand. Another video shows the suspect taking a cash register. He throws one register to the floor but leaves the store with another one. He also reportedly took a MacBook. Nothing else inside the store was disturbed except for the cash register area.

The suspect is black, approximately 50-60 years old. He was wearing a white hat, white jacket with black on the top half. He had on a tan shirt and white pants with tan shoes.
