WASHINGTON, D.C. – Forty-six days have passed since President Barack Obama nominated Chief Judge Merrick B. Garland for the vacant seat on the Supreme Court, and the call from the public is getting louder for the United States Congress to fill the seat left empty by the passing of Justice Antonin Scalia.

FOX 4’s Phil Witt sat down with the president to discuss the nomination, issues surrounding Guantanamo Bay and partisan problems he has faced while in office.
