KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- As a part of FOX 4's Women at Series, Nicole DiAntonio is highlighting local women who work in male-dominate fields.

Lori Martens is a pilot who spends her days watching the world from 30,000 feet above.

Martens said both of her parents were in the military, and she traveled a lot as a child. Martens added that a representative visited her school and talked about becoming a pilot in high school, and she knew that was the right fit for her.
