CLAY COUNTY, Mo. -- A major roadwork project could cause some headaches for Clay County drivers Friday night into Saturday morning.

Beginning at 8 p.m., crews will close the ramps from I-35 to I-435.

Crews will be working on temporary pavement markings, which will cause them to close the ramps from northbound and southbound I-35 to southbound I-435.

The ramps will be closed until 4 a.m., Saturday.

Also during the project there will be various double lane closures in both directions on 435 from Parvin Road to the I-35/435/69-Highway interchange.

MoDOT reminds drivers to be alert and pay attention to roadwork signs to keep everyone safe.
