OLATHE, Kan. -- Crews are going to be out assessing the damage Friday morning after an overnight house fire in Olathe.

The fire started just after midnight at a home around near North Lincoln and West Poplar, which is near downtown Olathe.

Nobody was home and nobody was injured.

Firefighters say they couldn't really get inside the home because the place was packed with stuff and they had to punch a hole in the side of the house to assess the damage.

Firefighters are expected to tear down a wall to get inside Friday so they can continue their investigation and assessment of damage.
