Overland Park man charged with criminal threat from May 20 incident

JOHNSON COUNTY, Kan. — One man was charged on Tuesday with making a criminal threat.

Besher Aly Kutifan, 52, of Overland Park, faces one count of criminal threat resulting from an arrest on May 20. The Johnson County Sheriff’s Department said the man was arrested after getting into an argument with apartment managers in Overland Park.

Kutifan’s bond is set at $5,000. He is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
