Follow the Royals journey through the White House

WASHINGTON — The Kansas City Royals have taken over the White House. Wednesday night the team hopped on a plane and headed to Washington D.C., for their meeting the President Obama.

The boys in blue were honored and then will tour the White House.

During Thursday’s press briefing KC native and White House press secretary, Josh Earnest, asked if there were any questions, Ned Yost, Salvador Perez and Eric Hosmer jumped on stage. The three surprised Earnest with a customized Royals jersey.

The Royals also met with President Obama.
