Knife pulled during large fight at northland bar after game of pool; about a dozen involved

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police say two people were stabbed at about 2:00 a.m. after a game of pool at Arthur's Lounge at I-29 and Barry Road on Friday.

While two people were stabbed, others were injured in other ways, with cuts and bruises because approximately a dozen people were involved in what police described as a melee.

One person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries but that person is now expected to recover.

One person was injured when he punched out a car window.

Police were still trying to sort out exactly who was involved.
