OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- With all the rain moving through water levels across the metro are beginning to rise, and one metro creek was starting to resemble a river.

Indian Creek is infamous for rising quickly when it rains, and Thursday was no exception.

FOX 4's Rob Collins reports the water flowing swiftly through the creek and seeing debris and branches washed up onto the rocks of the creek bank.

Rob also said the area around the creek was slippery, which could pose a threat to anyone who decides to walk through the area near the creek.

The walking path along the side of the creek is also still closed because it is covered with water.
