A full life: Westpoint football player, soldier, colonel, now helping other amputees persevere

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Ret. Col. Greg Gadson, a decorated 25-year Army veteran was injured in the line of duty by an IED that left him a double amputee. He has since used his experience to motivate and inspire others to persevere through challenges.

He is the keynote speaker for the 6th Annual Celebration Awards Luncheon for 'The Whole Person', an organization that helps people navigate the challenges and live independently with their disabilities.

The luncheon will benefit The Whole Person and the variety of programs it has for people with disabilities to meet their goals.

Col. Greg Gadson has been retired for two years, but even after his amputations, he continued to work to motivate and inspire others to persevere through challenges.
