Study determines at which age kids should get their first job, phone, date

There are many milestones in a child’s life such as taking their first steps, getting their first tooth, and speaking their first word.  But what about firsts for other things such as when should kids get their first cell phone?

A Harris Poll, which was released on Friday,  asked American adults and teenagers to weigh in on when it`s proper for a kid to do certain things.

A hotly debated issue among parents today surrounds when kids should get access to certain electronics. On average, Americans say 14 is when kids should get a cell phone. Younger kids say they need them at age 13.
