Not Even One Campaign spreads to several high schools to help stop teen suicide

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Suicide is the third leading cause of death for kids ages 10 to 24.  September 5 through the 11 is National Suicide Prevention Week.

The Not Even One Campaign, which launched last year, is aimed at preventing teen suicide. It was created as a partnership between local students, Marillac, Mix 93, FOX 4 and the T-bones.

Sherrie Balmer from Marillac visited FOX 4 on Tuesday, Sept. 6 to share what's next for the campaign and how people people needing help can get the care they need.
