KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A window washer working on the Town Pavilion building got hung up on equipment Thursday afternoon for a short time, prompting an emergency response at about 2:30.

Emergency workers were called to 11th and Main for a possible rescue, but the window washer managed to free himself and repel down on his own.

The Kansas City Streetcar was shut down for a time due to the line’s proximity to the scene, but service resumed shortly after 3 p.m.
