Olathe 7-Eleven clerk says man displayed a knife, demanded money

OLATHE, Kan. — Olathe police are investigating after a 7-Eleven was robbed early Tuesday morning.

Police say officers were dispatched at 12:20 a.m., to the 7-Eleven convenience store in the 11900 block of South Strangline Road Street in reference
to an aggravated robbery.

The male clerk, 56, told police that a white male entered the store and demanded money while displaying a knife. The suspect exited the store and left
the area on foot.

According to police, the clerk was not injured.

The suspect was described as being approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a black ball cap, black T-shirt and jeans. The clerk advised the suspect appeared to be in his 20s.
