KCK firefighter falls off ladder while battling house fire

A KCK firefighter was injured Thursday night when they fell from a ladder.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — A Kansas City, Kan., firefighter is expected to be fine after falling off of a ladder while fighting a house fire late Thursday night.

Firefighters responded to the fire near North 12th and Greeley around 11:30 p.m.

Crews knocked the fire down in about an hour. At some point a firefighter fell from a ladder and twisted his ankle.

No other injuries were reported and no one lived at the home.
