Excelsior Springs police searching for clues after equipment at Kibler Park was set on fire

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS, Mo. — Police in Excelsior Springs, Mo., are searching for clues that will lead them to the person they say torched some playground equipment last weekend.

Firefighters were dispatched to Kibler Park on Saturday around 11:30 p.m., upon reports of the equipment being on fire. Crews were able to put out the flames quickly, but there is still damage.

Multiple pieces of equipment were burned and are no longer usable.
