LEE'S SUMMIT, Mo. -- Lee's Summit police were called to a home near 291-Highway and Chipman Rd., on reports of a shooting that ended with the victim dead.

Officers received the call at about 9:40 a.m., for an armed disturbance.  They found the victim shot and the suspect had fled the scene in a vehicle. As officers were collecting evidence and processing the crime scene, the suspect returned to the area and was taken into custody peacefully.

Police say they are working to determine the motive, which they believe was an argument.  The victim and suspect were brothers, according to initial reports from investigators. Police did not release their ages.
