KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- October is Dyslexia Awareness Month. It's important for parents, educators, etc., to have knowledge of what dyslexia is and how they can support those around them who have dyslexia. Dyslexia is a language based learning difference. Individuals with dyslexia have trouble with reading, writing, spelling and/or math. These difficulties are not related to intellectual ability or lack of education. In fact, many people with dyslexia are very bright and have lots of strengths. Watch the video above to learn more.
