Enthusiastic crowd greets Olympic gymnasts at Sprint Center exhibition

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Olympic women's gymnastics team performed in Kansas City Friday night. Hundreds of fans and young gymnasts came out to watch at Sprint Center.

FOX 4 talked to fans who told us why they like their favorite gymnast.

"I am looking forward to seeing Aly Raisman," said Ashley Gregg. "She just works really hard and she always has a positive attitude."

Dozens of fans practiced their own gymnastics outside Sprint Center while waiting in line. They said its a fun way to get pumped up for the slow.

Inside the show, the 2016 gold medalists were introduced and walked a flag across the stage. Women and men from the Olympic team performed.

The group hits the road on Saturday and heads to Minneapolis for the next stop on their tour.
