Police arrest two armed robbery suspects, third is believed to be hiding in nearby home

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City police are on the scene of a standoff with an armed robbery suspect Friday morning.

Police say around 6:38 a.m., officers were dispatched to the corner of St. John Avenue and North Denver Avenue upon reports of an armed robbery involving three suspects.

According to police, the victim's vehicle was taken during the robbery.

Officers located the victim's vehicle near Wilson Road and Booth, where they took two suspects into custody. Police say they have reason to believe the third suspect is inside a nearby home. At 8:27 a.m., officers called an Operation 100.
