Two people surrender after police block off home at Rinker Rd & Sni-A-Bar

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police were working a standoff scene at a home on Rinker Road in Kansas City where two people were refusing to leave the home.

Just before 3 p.m. police say that the pair surrendered peacefully.

Officers responded to the residence near the intersection of Rinker and Sni-A-Bar looking for wanted individuals Wednesday afternoon. Upon arrival, officers determined that several people were inside the home.

Many inside came outside initially, save for the two who prompted the standoff. FOX 4 will update this story with more details as they become available.
