KANSAS CITY, Kan. — More stores are giving their workers the day off on Thanksgiving.

Legends Outlets announced on Thursday that they will remain closed Thanksgiving Day and reopen at 6 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 25.

Oak Park mall will also remain closed on Thanksgiving Day and reopen at 6 a.m. on the dot Black Friday. The mall said its workers and retailers should be able to spend time at home.

There are exceptions at Oak Park Mall. Any store with an exterior entrance like a department store or the movie theater will have the option of remaining open on Thanksgiving.

T.J. Maxx, Nordstrom Rack and Sam’s Club have also recently announced they’re closed for the holiday.

The Mall of America, the nation’s largest shopping mall, announced last week that it would be closed for the holiday.
