Crowd goes wild for free Brad Paisley concert at KU

LAWRENCE, Kan. -- A country music superstar made his way to the Midwest. Thousands enjoyed Brad Paisley who performed a free concert at KU.

He started the night with the song "Crushing It."

The crowd went wild when he finally took the stage. Thousands filled the parking lot at Memorial Stadium for his free concert. He visited Lawrence as part of his national tour of college campuses. Sandy Noll arrived early with her daughter.

"It's really awesome that they can offer that, and it gives kids a good role model to look up to," she said.

During last year's tour, more than 120-thousand people were able to attend his free concerts.
