KANSAS CITY, Mo. --  During the fall, Worlds of Fun transforms their park into a haunted house haven.

On Friday, Oct. 14, FOX 4's Matt Stewart went behind the scenes to learn more on what goes into the transformation.

Darren Hinesley is a member of the creative services team who created the Halloween Haunt, and he tells FOX 4 there's a lot of fine detail that goes into each haunted house to help park-goers feel like their in another world. Watch the video above for a look at some of those details.

If you don't have tickets to Halloween Haunt yet, you should enter FOX 4's "The Great Pumpkin" sweepstakes by taking a picture of the pumpkin you’ve carved or decorated for the fall/Halloween season.  All photos will be considered and some will be added to the website or used on-air.

The winner of the FOX 4 ‘The Great Pumpkin’ contest wins two tickets to the Halloween Haunt at Worlds of Fun, two Fright Lane passes with Skeleton Key and one parking pass.
